What You Need –
2-3 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
3 Strips of Bacon/Pancetta (sliced)
1 1/2 Cups Brussel Sprouts (sliced)
1 tbsp Butter
1/2 Cups Peas
1 Cup Orecchiette Pasta
1/4 – 1/2 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
Extra Drizzle of Olive Oil (optional)
Salt and Pepper (as desired)
What You’ll Do –
Step 1: Start boiling your pot of water
Step 2: Prep your Bacon/Pancetta, Brussel Sprouts, and Garlic
Step 3: Melt your butter in a large pan. Add the bacon and allow to brown slightly.
Step 4: Add your pasta to the now boiling water.
Step 5: Add your Garlic and Brussel Sprouts to the Butter and Bacon.
Step 6: Once your Brussel Sprouts have started to soften, add your Peas.
Step 7: Simmer on low while Pasta finishes cooking – keep occasionally stirring to ensure Brussel Sprouts don’t over cook.
Step 8: Drain your pasta and add the Orecchiette to the rest of your mixture. Stir it in well with everything else.
Step 9: Top with an extra drizzle of Olive Oil if you wish, and sprinkle the Fresh Parmesan Cheese to top. Salt and Pepper as desired.
Step 10: Plate and enjoy!
